Freelance Facilitation and Collaborative Projects
With nearly 20 years experience in delivering drama workshops for young people, I am available for freelance work and opportunities to collaborate with other creatives.
Sojo & Mouse
Sojo & Mouse is an independent publishing company set up by myself and illustrator Sophie Johnson-Hill (of Sojo Animation). Our aim is to create wonderfully original children’s books which provide a platform for authors and illustrators to share and showcase their work. We currently have three books published, and more projects in the making.
Nottingham
Playhouse
Since August 2021 I have been working for Nottingham Playhouse's participation team as part of their wider group of freelance artists. I have worked on their Free Fun and Food holiday provisions, delivering drama sessions for children from 6-16 years old, and also covered Little People Big Adventures sessions for 2 - 5 year olds.
Nonsuch Theatre
I have recently connected with the wonderfully innovative Nonsuch Theatre and will begin to work as a freelance drama teacher for them this term. I also am in discussions to get further involved in the company with potential forthcoming writing projects.
Starlight Theatre Academy
Starlight Theatre Academy is an independent theatre school for young people based in Newark. As well as doing occasional cover work for their weekend classes, I have teamed up with principal Emily Cook on school workshops and writing projects, producing 'Write Here, Write Now' sessions, and also co-creating my play anthologies with her.

Sprouts
It's been a pleasure to go back to help out with covering after-school drama classes at my old company Sprouts, continuing to support the wonderful business I worked on for a decade, albeit now in a freelance capacity.
